the best christmas gift?

I always wanted a book of mormon with pink flowers on it!.... couldn't find one. So i just made one for Annicka this year out of a purse, I also got a cute cream scripture journal to go with. So fun! She will love it! she is trying to finish reading the book of mormon for the 6th time before christmas...Wow can I be her?

This year I'm writing a love letter to justin.... in a book of mormon! On the front is printed "Another Testament Of My Love For You" and on each page is a love note to him from me, in the front blank pages is the reason why I chose the book of mormon as a symbol of our love ( when i asked my Heavenly Father if it was the right man for me he answered me by saying it was my chocie..  After I married him when we were in the temple together for the first time after being married I asked again if I had married the right one and He answered me"Do you know the book of mormon is true?" Yes you know Heavenly Father That of ALL the things i know this and my testimony of Christ are  the only sure things I KNOW"  "then also know with this same conviction that this marrige is right and true"...... yep He is my PRINCE CHARMING!!!

a christmas gathreing.

 last night was the annual couples christmas dinner that my parents host. it was wonderful. their house was decked out with the most stunning decor you have ever beheld. the food, well, it was amazing. we ate till our little hearts content and then enjoyed a nail biting white elephant exchange. things got totally heated. i mean, it was intense. the gifts that were the hottest were micka and justin's teeth whitening kit, and jaNae's bubble necklace. and not just any bubble necklace...a emerald green bubble necklace! i knowwww. anyways, it was fun despite the fact that the gifts daniel and i brought were so bad that the recipients actually gave them back to us at the end of the night. 

the couples dinner is adults only except for the littlest grandkids who cant quite leave mommy and daddy for that long. and thank goodness for that! what would we do without mila and henry?

also, can we talk about this fur vest for one second. i die. its the cutest thing i have ever seen.

date with dad + happy weekend

today henry and i had the pleasure of hanging out with dad all day long. those are the best kinds of days. we could get used to this no school stuff, i mean, really! first on the agenda was bw ballet class and then the city was ours for the day, party. parrrttttaaayyyy! our favorite part of the day was cabelas. wow that place has a lot of stuffed animals, and not the regular kind of stuffed animals, like REAL stuffed animals. anyways, daniel and i have been wanting to get a dutch oven for our little family. and we found one. the perfect one.

we also had a little lunch date with great grandma and pa neeleman, and then henry got the giggles. it was so cute. he couldnt sit down in his car seat, he was just too happy. then after we buckled him in he instantly fell asleep. laughing is a workout!

Trader Joes, we love you.

doesnt henry look SO good in that tj's shopping cart? i know. he should be their model baby. I mean, i would shop there if i knew henry was going to be there! anyways, trader joes is here you guys, it finally made it to utah, and we could not be happier about it. the only problem is...it's in salt lake and we live in provo. BUT today my mom and i were going up to ballet west to take class (well mom and henry were going to hang out while i danced) and after we found out class was cancelled...we did the only logical thing we could think of. go to trader joes. it was blissful.

i've missed you tj's.  

my mom and i ate almost an entire bag of the kettle corn on the way home. its so good. "a little too good" as daniel would say.
